Blockout® Industries

Blockout® Industries has been protecting homes from bushfires for over 26 years. We were the first Australian company to test products for bushfire safety, with tests conducted by The University of NSW and CSIRO. Blockout Industries has four shutters that meet the NSW conditions for AS3959-2009 BAL FZ, section 3.7 excluding (e) & (f). Our perforated Maxiview® shutter meets the conditions for BAL 40 shutters. Unlike many of our competitors Blockout® is a professional shutter company and we make sure that we comply to all of the conditions of a bushfire shutter as specified in the standard, especially manual control in case of power failure. Specialising in working with architects and builders means the shutters can be designed in with new homes or retro fitted to existing houses.
