Dear {contact.first_name} In case you haven’t already heard about it or taken part, I’d like to let you know about an inspiring Blue Mountains’ business initiative “Are You Inclusive?”. BMEE is proud to be involved in this campaign, run by DARE Disability. “Are You Inclusive?” aims to help businesses understand and improve customer service for people with an intellectual disability. Along with making the customer experience easier for those with an intellectual disability, it also generates opportunities for increased business revenue. It is great to see this NDIS-funded project leading the way for Australia. To find out more and get involved head to their facebook page and website. This year we’re holding the Bushfire Building Expo and Community Day ahead of the fire season, on Saturday September 7, with the industry Conference to be held 6 weeks later on October 23-25. The Expo and Community Day is a free, public event for anyone wanting to learn more about building, renovating and staying safe in bushfire-prone areas. It’s a family-friendly day with plenty to keep the kids busy while you find out everything you need to know. Make sure to mark it in your calendars! Finally, there is still time to have input into our Post School Pathways project. We’re grateful to the Federal Government for funding this project through their Building Better Regions Grants.
