Dear {contact.first_name} Following our recent successful grant application to the Federal Government’s Building Better Regions Fund, we have started our research into ‘Post School Pathways’, with Katoomba PhD student, Francesca Sidoti, conducting and managing the project on our behalf. This research is intended to provide reliable information to help us develop strategies in the area of post school education. Demographic data shows that while we have above NSW state average percentage of children of school ages, we have below state average for ages between 20 and 40. Overall, the Blue Mountains has low unemployment, which suggests that our young people are moving away to start their careers or study. If you would like any further information on the Post School Pathways project, please follow this link or contact us at admin@bmee.org.au.Links to the surveys are provided below in this newsletter. Enjoy the beautiful autumn weather as we head into what is traditionally the Blue Mountains busy season! Regards,
